2022 Retrospective

It is hard to review 2022 in terms of Life Architecture. LA didn't yet exist in any formal way. I had some basic building blocks---maybe even keystones---but so much of the work was formed in this year. That may be an achievement in itself. I had so many changes this year that it felt like the fabric of my thought shifted heavily.

In 2021 I did however establish some goals for 2022. Through this process I figured out Seasonal Planning as a tool for scheduling out my year.

The vast majority of my plans were around travel and moving. I definitely was a bit of a rolling stone. I lived in Washington for ~15 years before finally moving out in Dec 2021. From there I went to Florida, then Brazil, then Washington, and then drove across country to Mississippi where I lived for several months. I eventually, much to everyone's surprise, met a girl and ended up in California. To that end, I accomplished all my goals.

Some of my goals were around my career and worklife. The only one I completed was an industry certification (AZ-900). I'm proud of that certification, but there is much more growth in this space to be explored.

My failed goals were around fitness. I simply didn't accomplish it. Can't honestly say that I tried hard. With all the travel and the recovery therein I deprioritized that to oblivion.

Some noteworthy accomplishments was that I read a lot. I think I read more books this year than I ever have. All of them were around self-improvement and informed Life Architecture.
